Jumping off of a great weekend of the first of the fall bridal shows, I’m sure you are all very excited about the prospect of potential new business. It is very refreshing to see all the anxious brides make their way up and down the aisles booking their events with the vendors! Fall bridal shows are a great intro into our winter bridal shows because it reminds us how excited brides are to be planning their wedding! Imagine how anxious they will be in January when the winter months have left them quite a bit of time to think about details that they might be looking for their special day! Why does our show continue to grow?
Economic Booth Prices: With the way the economy stands our industry would do well to have the ability to see potential brides and showcase our businesses to them without spending the average $650 on booth space for January bridal shows.
Growing Exposure: As our attendance grows, so do our advertising dollars! Our goal is to get brides from both sides of the river and the outlining areas. We advertise on both KWQC–TV6 and with The Rock Island Dispatch/Argus. We promote our show through radio, television, newspaper, web and direct mail to guarantee a great show!
We’re First!: The date is set for January 10, 2010! Being close to the holidays, couples are home from college, and winter break presents the perfect opportunity to plan their wedding. The brides are ready to book, and don’t want to lose their vendors by waiting several weeks.
Great Vendors: Ducky’s Formal Wear, Celebration Bridal and Younker’s just to name a few! Our vendors boost our bridal attendance by promoting our show to their client list through mailings, e-mails and word-of-mouth! In years past, Younker’s has sold over 300 pre-show tickets! This year add your business to the list.
